Publication Ethics Statement

This journal upholds the highest standards of publication ethics in accordance with the Regulation of the Head of LIPI No. 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications. The ethical guidelines apply to all parties involved in the publishing process, including the journal managers, editors, reviewers, and authors. The principles emphasized are:

  1. Neutrality – free from conflicts of interest in managing publications.

  2. Fairness – granting authorship rights to those who are entitled.

  3. Integrity – ensuring publications are free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P).

Duties of Journal Managers

Journal managers are responsible for defining the scope, policy, and governance of the journal; establishing the editorial board; maintaining confidentiality; safeguarding intellectual property rights; ensuring sustainable funding; fostering collaboration; and fulfilling legal requirements.

Duties of Editors

Editors are tasked with ensuring the quality and objectivity of publications, maintaining academic integrity, overseeing the review process, providing corrections or retractions when necessary, and supporting initiatives to prevent research misconduct. Editors should encourage constructive dialogue among authors, reviewers, and readers, and remain open to new perspectives.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers contribute to the editorial decision-making process by providing objective, timely, and constructive feedback. They must maintain confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and evaluate manuscripts based on scientific merit and ethical standards.

Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure originality of their work, provide accurate data and analyses, acknowledge funding sources, disclose limitations, respond to reviewers professionally, and confirm that the manuscript has not been previously published or under consideration elsewhere. All listed authors must meet authorship criteria and share collective responsibility for the content.
