Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Advances in Multidisciplinary Education and Learning (AMEL) undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality. Submissions that pass the initial editorial screening will be sent for review by independent experts in the relevant field. The review process is conducted in a double-blind manner, meaning that both the reviewers’ and the authors’ identities remain anonymous throughout the process.
If a manuscript is developed from a previously presented conference or seminar paper, the following conditions must be observed:
-
The submitted article must be substantially revised, expanded, and rewritten, making it significantly or entirely different from the original paper or presentation.
-
At least 75% of the content must be new to ensure the article qualifies as an original contribution.
-
Authors are required to provide the original conference/seminar paper for comparison purposes.
-
If the original work has been published elsewhere and the copyright has been transferred to the organizer or another publisher, authors must obtain written permission from the copyright holder before submission. Articles will not be accepted for publication, even after review, without such permission.
The peer review process in AMEL involves several stages:
-
Initial Screening – The editorial team evaluates the manuscript for scope, originality, formatting compliance, and plagiarism check.
-
Double-Blind Review – Suitable manuscripts are assigned to at least two expert reviewers. Reviewers provide objective, critical, and constructive feedback regarding the quality, validity, and contribution of the manuscript.
-
Author Revision – Authors are required to address reviewers’ comments and resubmit the revised manuscript within the given timeframe.
-
Final Decision – Based on reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of the revised manuscript, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision: accept, accept with minor/major revisions, or reject.
-
Proofreading and Publication – Accepted manuscripts undergo final proofreading, copy-editing, and are prepared for online publication.
This process ensures that all published articles in AMEL meet the standards of originality, scholarly integrity, and academic excellence.
