Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Berbantuan Media Animasi Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Pada Materi Tubuh Makhluk Hidup Di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Jember

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by animation media on students’ conceptual understanding of living organisms in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Jember. Learning about living organisms requires students to understand concepts through meaningful and engaging learning experiences. However, conventional teaching methods may limit students’ opportunities to explore concepts actively. Therefore, the integration of Problem-Based Learning and animation media is expected to improve students’ conceptual understanding. This study focuses on the implementation of the learning model and the use of animation media to support students in identifying, understanding, and explaining concepts related to living organisms. The research is designed to examine whether the combination of problem-based learning activities and animated visualizations can enhance students’ learning outcomes. The findings are expected to provide insights into the effectiveness of innovative learning strategies in elementary Islamic education, particularly in science learning. This study may also serve as a reference for teachers in selecting appropriate learning models and media to create more interactive, meaningful, and effective learning experiences
